An old man's allegory

Tripped in a ford albeit of a club
Grey  beard fellow ,shriveled by time
Screamed and shrieked on nature’s timely drub
For the days ahead it’s just a stime

Forlorn old man striving on the lane
Croesus wealth, inept  to heal
Ephebe in past ,now life is a bane
In search of repose ,Croesus appeal

Algid waves greeted with a scowl
 Effete cartilage shudders in fleece
Fastened life ,like a trapped fowl
With a glimpse  she weeps , dear cantatrice

Crutches and staff  inutile  to assist
A long known marathoner
Feeble to hold one morsel in a fist
O Delphic Apollo save the fellow
 and arrest the  batterer

Go-ON

Dreams sprout, swinging in nature’s hammock
Glide committedly, with wisher wish
Swiftly move with a gentle auk
It will sprout to a wisher’s delish

Often sink and struggle to rise again
Plough the dreams on every failure
Even if stuck in fen
A power is there to be your savior

Boggled warrior is never a victor
Fudged life invites a fudged dawn
Write your destiny and be the protector
It is a race so hold the baton

Success always bide for assiduous
A breath of commitment blow off failure
It’s a journey that is arduous
With a sweetness at the end to savor

Earn a moment of pleasure and esteem
Oh!! You sedulous you wish a dream
